Meat Curry Masala

Ingredients
Ginger 15 gm
Garlic 6 cloves
Almond 15 gm (boiled & skinned)
Coconut Powder 15 gm
Oil 50 gm
Onion 100 gm (chopped)
Meat Curry Masala 20 gm
Yogurt 120 gm
Tomato Puree 60 gm
Mutton 700 gm

Direction

1. Grind ginger, garlic, almonds, coconut powder and little water to form paste in a grinder.
2. In a pan, heat oil and fry onions in it till light golden.
3. Add the paste in it & fry for 5 minutes.
4. Then add Meat curry masala and fry further for 2 min.
5. Add natural yogurt pouring little quantity at a time.
6. Add tomato puree, & salt to taste.
7. Stir for 3-4 min.
8. Add mutton pieces and brown them turning occasionally on medium flame.
9. Lastly add 250ml of hot water.
10. Cover & simmer on low flame.
11. Add more water if required & cook for about 45 min, or till it is tender.

Pakora Masala is a spice blend that is mixed into Besan or gram flour batter to prepare savoury and crunchy vegetable fritters. MDH Recipe: Pakora 1. Mix 3 chopped red onions (200g), gram flour (250g), MDH Pakora Masala (25g), salt (5g), baking soda (1/2 tsp) and water (250ml) together to make a thin uniform batter. 2. In a deep frying pan heat half a litre cooking oil. 3. Pour spoonfuls of the batter gently into the oil to make small shapes and fry until golden brown on all sides. 4. Remove from oil and strain well. Dry excess oil if needed. 5. Serve hot with MDH Podina Chutney.

BUTTER CHICKEN MASALA Spices blend for Butter Chicken https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVIjMWEKy9s Recipe : Cut 500g chicken pieces and marinate them for half an hour. Mean-while make paste of 100g onions and 120g tomatoes. Also blanch, peel and grind 10 almonds into a fine paste adding ¼ cup water. Alternately cashew nuts or 20g poppy seeds can also be used. In a flat pan heat 50g edible oil and cook chicken pieces & onion paste till light pink for 10 min. Add tomatoes, almonds paste & 15g Butter Chicken masala. Add water.
