    Shan Korma Masala

    Servings 6-8

    Ingredients
    Mutton/beef 1 or 1-1/2
    Onion 5 or 2-1/2 or 300 gm
    Curd 1-1/2 cup (whipped)
    Garlic ½ tbsp
    Ginger 2 tbsp/2’’ piece/30 gm
    Clarified butter/oil 1-1/2 cup
    Kewra 2-3 tbsp
    Shan korma masala 1 packet

    Method
    1. Heat oil in a deep pan and fry onion on high flame till translucent for ten minutes.
    2. Low the flame and fry onion more till 10 minutes.
    3. Take out onion and spread on an absorbent paper.
    4. Let it cool for a while till onion get crisp.
    5. Crush them by help of hand or by rubbing with hands. (avoid to chop in chopper machine).
    6. No in the same pan put ginger stirring for a while.
    7. Then add meat, curd, garlic and shan korma spice cook covered.
    8. Add 1-2 cup water.
    9. Add crushed onion and kewra cover and simmer for 5 minutes till oil comes out.
    10. Serve with taftaan or naan.

    For Best Result Tips:

    • Do not use over fried or burnt onion.
    • Curd should not sour.
    • 300gms fresh finely chopped onion in equal to 1 bowl fried brown onion.
    • Use chops, ribs, meat.

MDH Bombay Biryani Masala 100g How to prepare: Wash and soak 500g Basmati rice in twice its volume of waterfor 20mins, Also marinate for 30mins, 500g meat/chicken pieces cut into cubes, in a mix of garlic -ginger paste, salt yogurtand lemon juice, Mean while chop 150g onions and 200g peeled potatoes fry them in 120ml cooking oil til onions are brown and potatoes cooked, Add 200g chopped tomatoes and one pack of Bombay Biryani Masala, mix well till tomatoes are soft add meat pieces and 3cups of water, cover and simmer for 20min, till meat is tender and little curry remains, Add salt to taste , boil rice till half the water remains, in a large , cook and serve pan, place rice in layers with meat mix in between, add remaining water and simmer till fully cooked serve with yogurt natural or raita.   Ingredients: Salt, Coriander, Dried plums, Red chilli, Fennel ,mango. cassia, musk melon, turmeric, cumin, cloves, cardamom Amomum seeds, Garlic, Black pepper, Green cardamom, Nutmeg, Mace.

About the product:

Kashmiri Mirch or chilli is a special blend of red peppers that are less spicy but have a rich colour. MDH’s Kashmiri Mirch can be used in any dish that you want to impart a deep red colour to, while keeping the spice quotient low. It can also be used to marinate.

Recipe: Potatoes, Peas & Cheese - Cut 200g. Cheese (Cottage) into ½ inch cubes and fry them in ghee/oil till golden brwon. - Separately saute 2 chopped onions till golden in half cup ghee/oil. - Add 2 chopped tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes. - Add salt to taste, ½ tspn. Deggi Mirch 3 tspn. Kitchen King and cook for 3 minutes. - Add 4 peeled potatoes, cut lengthwise, and half cup full of peas. Stir for 3 minutes. - Add cheese cubes and simmer further for 5 minutes till the potatoes are tender. - Sprinkle a pinch of Kasoori Methi leaves, stir and serve.
