Ingredients: Chickpeas (Kabuli chana) — 1 cup, soaked overnight
Onions – 2, finely chopped
Tomatoes – 2, pureed
Ginger-Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp
Order Ginger-Garlic Paste
Green Chilies – 1-2, slit
Chole Masala – 2 tbsp

Coriander Powder – 1 tsp

Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp

Cumin Seeds – 1/2 tsp
Order Cumin Seeds
Salt to taste
Chopped Coriander Leaves for garnish
For the Chickpeas: Drain and rinse soaking chickpea. Cook it in appressure cooker(in a night with alittle salt) until soft(4 or 5whistles). Set aside.
For the Masala: In a pan, add some oil and on heating it add cumin seeds. Leave them for spluttering. Chop onions and fry until brown. Mix in ginger garlic paste and green chilis for a min.
Add Turmeric, Chole Masala, Coriander Powder and Salt to it Add tomatoes in it. Now add the pureed tomatoes n cook till oil separates from masala.
Stir in the chickpeas, give it all like a good stir and add water until you get to your desired gravy consistency. Let sit for 10-15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
Garnish — some chopped fresh coriander leaves for on top before serving.
Serving Suggestions
Can be served with hot Bhature, n
